Professional Background
In his 32 years of practice Sydney has advised and successfully represented Governments, government departments, statutory bodies and corporations, public utilities, banks and other financial institutions, liquidators, receivers, a hotel chain and other leading business organizations and individuals throughout the Eastern Caribbean region, appearing in arbitration and other proceedings, in trials in the High Court and Court of Appeal in the British Virgin Islands and elsewhere and before the Privy Council in London.
Sydney has practiced in the BVI for the past 23 years; and has acted as as a Justice of Appeal in the Court of Appeal of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.
